I bought a used 2002 vw passat. I had the car a year and put about 1500 miles on it. After three mechanics looked at the car AUL was contacted and was told that the motor would need to be replaced.

This is NOT the way an insurance company is supposed to work nor is it legal for them to deny a claim when three mechanics from three different shops have all looked at this car and stated the same thing. Eight eight days later yes eight it was towed to the vw mechanics where it sits now 13 days later.
